April 2, 200718 yr This is probably a commonly asked question, but I can't seem to find the answer to it. In the olden days, if you wanted to hide a file from the Open Remote Dialog box, you'd set the file as Multi-User (Hidden). It appears, now, that there's a checkbox in the Sharing -> FileMaker Network that says "Don't display in Open Remote Dialog." However, on files shared over Filemaker Server, that option is grayed out, presumably because that only lists files I have open locally. I can't seem to find an equivalent option in the server options, though I'm sure it must exist somewhere. Help?
April 3, 200718 yr It is set in the file before being placed onto the Server. There is no separate server based option. However--slightly diffrent--you can set Server to display only those files for which a user has a valid account. Steven
