Goya Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the release of version 1.1 of our developer tool BaseElements. As well as a host of small changes, BaseElements now incorporates a complete development warning system, a first for developers working with FileMaker Pro.

BaseElements adds to it's comprehensive set of Error and Unreferenced reporting options the ability to locate developer issues that may go unnoticed in your solutions. For example :

A set field step that tries to modify a calculation field.

A ValueList using a field that can't be indexed.

A field on a layout from an unrelated Table Occurrence.

A relationship that is matching on different field types.

The warnings system in BaseElements allows you to choose which warnings you want to see highlighted and also to go back to a previously processed solution and change the options. You have complete control over which warning issues you want to be notified of, and which aren't issues you want to follow up.
