I am not sure if I need to create a script or a button or maybe neither ...

I have two drop downs on a layout with the City and under that a drop down with the Month . How do I create a script that navigates to the other layout that matches the same City and Month?

For example

City :) SD (drop down)

Month : Dec 06 (drop down)

once Month is selected then go to other layout that has matching City and Month

City: SD

Month: Dec 06

Write a script:

- set variable [$city , City]

- set variable [$month , Month]

- go to layout [second layout]

- enter find mode

- set field [City, $city]

- set field [Month, $month]

- perform find

You may wish to create a button on the first layout, which runs the script.

Yours

James
