FileMaker Fast Start & Intermediate

IT Solutions offers a two-day starter/intermediate course for FileMaker users who are ready to take their solutions to the next level. While each day can be attended separately, it is recommended that students attend both days as the second day builds upon concepts learned and discussed in the first day.

Day 1 - FileMaker Fast Start

Understand the concept of a database including records and fields by creating a simple database using FileMaker 8. Learn to add records and navigate the database using FileMaker’s built-in record filtering tools and create a custom report using the report wizard.

Day 2 - FileMaker Intermediate

Learn how to take your FileMaker Pro 8 solutions to the next level by creating cleaner layouts, controlling data entry, automating workflow and understanding complex relationships. Also, learn how new features in FileMaker 8 Advanced make the development process faster and easier, allowing you more time to concentrate on solving business problems.
