zim528 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 My two Mac computers are on a local network (via Airport). My filemaker file is on one, network sharing is on, the file is open with network access to all users. When choosing "open remote" on the 2nd computer, the host network appears but no files show. I tried entering the path to the file (fmnet:/hostIPaddress/filename) but got the message: "filename" could not be opened. Either the host is not available or the file is not available on that host. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

zim528 Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 Hello Steven, Nope - that's not it (Sorry, I forgot to specify that as well in my original post).
