I'm trying to avoid the above scenario, where I in a selfjoin portal use the recordID to point in a List( of related ID's in 3 tables, and use it to pluck values to each line from the 3 related tables, take a look at the graph above!

I thought I could use Fabrice Nordman's CF:

http://www.briandunning.com/cf/684

To change the portals to the left, if where putting the two others to the left of one with a scrollbar ...but allthough it's a cool CF will it only tell you a relative position in the portal if you're typing something in it, or you're under script control that in forces a calculation thru by entering the cursor in the field which should have acted as primary key for the other portals selection in my case.

You can say that the relational structure is a little iffy, since a one2one relation exists between the 3 tables records, but the slicing up is due to the separation model, where each data-file needs to be send by email to specific instances which rely entirely on a simplistic layout made in the datafile.

Can the stuff be related differently to obtain the desired effect??

I knew something was awfully wrong here, I tried to help a fellow developer with this, and it kind of works, what he thought would be nice ... that several in a commetee could work on thier own files while taking what others earlier might have done, but as such isn't it at all preventing double assignments to subcommitees ...it can only get as good as the freshness of the the other sepator model file can be.

There is in this case no way to avoid networking to solution! The solution as such could then be designed like:

Beefed up with the recuring events dealing we did with Ender some years ago, since these comittees meets on a regular basis - certain weekdays.
