Export just the fields on a layout

I am wanting to just export the fields on a certain layout but I have several layouts I want to beable to export from.

In the help file it says I can export from the layout but it isn't an option for me. (In Script menu)

In the Specify Field Order for Export dialog box, indicate how you want FileMaker Pro to export the data.

When the Specify Field Order for Export dialog box opens, the tables list defaults to Current Layout (LayoutName) and displays only the visible fields on the current layout. To display all field names from the current table, choose Current Table (TableName) from the list.

Is there a work around for this other than manually having to move the fields over in the script step.

Any suggestions?

The Save as Excel command (might only be in +8.0) only exports the field on the current layout... there is no export order to set.
