Has anyone found a way to prevent page breaks...

Featured Replies

between parts? Specifically between subsummary and data part? I know this is an old problem, but there has to be a way.

Try unchecking the page break options in the sub-summary part definition.

If only it were that easy!

Unfortunately that doesn't work - never has. I wonder why FileMaker hasn't addressed this problem, since it has been plaguing users for years.

In an automated report I cannot find a way to prevent the contents of a leading sub-summary part winding up at the bottom of a page. And consequently the list of summarised items standing at the top of the following page with no apparent reference to the summary criteria. Starting a new page with each occurence of the sub-summary is not a solution.

This is a situation the client will not accept.
