Autoenter from another table?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have one file with two tables, Table A and Table B for example.

I have a field in table A called mod_tag (text field), which populates with an X If someone makes any modifies a field in Table A. That field also needs to track any modifications done in Table B with value X. This field needs to be stored as a relationship from another file will depend on it. Does anoyone know of a way of storing the value X in a field, if a related field has been modified?

I was hoping someone had a nifty technique using the autoenter calculation features.....

Thanks

Jalz

Unfortunately, this isn't going to happen without some event trigger mechanism. I would suggest looking into the various script triggering plug-ins such as ZippScript and the like.
