Send Mail Script Step

Does anyone know exactly where Filemaker calls the default mail program from. We have a inhouse programmed tool bar we use in outlook. When I do a new mesage or forward a messgae I get the inhouse added tool bar. When we send mail from filemaker with the send mail script I do not get the in house added tool bar. Only thing I can think filemaker is programmed in background to call by a command line script that is over riding our in house tool bar add.
