Hi all,

I'm running billing software that uses FM Server 5.5 running on Windows 2000 Professional. We had to reboot the machine and now FileMaker Server 5.5 won't run anymore. When I reboot and check the services, I see that FileMaker is stopping. When I try and restart it I get the following message:

"The FileMaker Server service terminated with server-specific error 50"

The only mention I've found so far with FileMaker and error 50 indicates that it is a problem with something called Web Companion which we don't have installed. Has anyone else run into this?

Looks like it was caused by another copy of the same licensed server that was running on the network. I've pulled that other server and uninstalled FileMaker. Works now. Now to fix Optigold
