i have set up access to our database via our server and password protected the file. however people have been able to open our db w/o having to sign in. any thoughts?

This can happen if the user checks the "Remember this password in my keychain" option when signing in. Removing the keychain or changing the password would force the password dialog to prompt again.

Also, make sure the file isn't set to auto-login in File->File Options.

If this problem persists and f it is the KeyChain, let us know. I will tell you several ways to solve it.
