fmswpc.exe file using up processor

Featured Replies

Got a call from someone who had a PC FileMaker server crash and when they restarted there is a file called fmswpc.exe that is using up 100% of their processor according to task manager. And it appears that web publishing has not started up.

The little that I can find out about this file is that it seems to be related to the web publishing engine but when checking processes on another PC with the web publishing engine installed there is no fmswpc.exe file showing in the task manager.

Has anyone run into a situation like this before?

The system is running FileMaker Server 7 Advanced and using IWP to publish some files to the web.
