Newbies winter00 Posted June 20, 2007 Newbies Posted June 20, 2007 I need to print some records on both sides of the paper and I need to manually turn over the paper. So what I think I need to be able to do is print all of the odd number records, and then turn the paper over and print the even numbered records. Does anyone know if this is possible or do you have any suggestions as to how to do it? This related thread seems to be the same question, but I did not see any answer... http://fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/184448/ Hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Newbies winter00 Posted June 20, 2007 Author Newbies Posted June 20, 2007 (edited) OK, never mind...I just set up a simple script... This prints the odd pages. Go to Layout ["Print"] Sort Records [Restore; No dialog] Go to Record/Request/Page [First] Loop Print [Restore; No dialog] Go to Record/Request/Page [Next] Go to Record/Request/Page [Next; Exit after last] End Loop Go to Layout ["main"] And then to print the even pages I just copied the script and added an extra "Go to Record/Request/Page [Next]" before the Loop starts. I'm sure there is a better, more elegant solution, but this works. Edited June 20, 2007 by Guest
Vaughan Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 This stuff is often a feature of printer drivers. Take a look around in the "advanced" printing options.
