CWP Error: The XML page cannot be displayed

I have migrated my filemaker databases and XSLT solution over to a new server. Shortly after using the XSLT solution on the new server, I get the following error...

The XML page cannot be displayed

…A message about an invalid character in the text content…

The file in question…home.xsl

And what appears to be the in valid character…MZ

This error displays after I click on a link to the FileMaker Site Assistant generated home.xsl file. So, I'm not even connecting to the back-end database yet. The error message seems to be coming from my IE browser. The servers in question are both IIS version 5. The only obvious difference is the OS. One is running XP and the other 2000. The only way I’ve been able to rectify this problem is to re-install and configure the Web Publishing Engine. I do not know what triggers this error nor can I find any support on this matter via the internet or FileMaker.
