(Eager to learn - Using boss machine) i am trying to use file maker to schedule different tasks for different people. I have just started to enter like this.. NAME : JOHN TASK MAINTENANCE DATE : 27 MARCH 2007 the next day john may be given a different task like DRIVING I want list out like this 27 MARCH 2007 DRIVING JOHN MARK EDWARD MAINTENANCE ROGER THOMAS VERT I have the name and task field as "TEXT" How it can be done... is it simple......? can someone guide me on this?
Ender Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 You should try using a columnar list with sub-summary parts. The parts would be: Header ---------------------- Sub-Summary by Date ---------------------- Sub-Summary by Task ---------------------- Body ---------------------- Footer When the found set is sorted by Date and Task, and layout is viewed in Preview Mode or printed, the sub-summary parts will show.
