For as long as I can view my Event.log file, the entries being created only contain a timestamp and hostname:

fmserv02:/Library/FileMaker Server 7/Data/Logs root# head Event.log

7/2/2007 8:31:15 AM fmserv02

7/2/2007 8:31:16 AM fmserv02

7/2/2007 8:31:16 AM fmserv02

7/2/2007 8:31:16 AM fmserv02

The entire log file contains entries like this.

I've tried changing the permissions on the file so they're world read / writable, deleting the file and letting it be recreated, and it has the same issue (I didn't think it would have any effect, since data IS being written to the file..):P

I've also tried calling FileMaker support and their only suggestion was to upgrade to FileMaker Server 8, which isn't really an option. I'm curious as to if anyone else has encountered this or has any suggestions on what else I might try to get it fixed and actually logging useful information.
