One of the annoying things about FileMaker is, when you click on an area that doesn't have a field(just the background). An outline around all the editable fields shows up. Is there a way to turn that off?

In Layout mode, Layouts menu, Layout Setup..., uncheck [ ] Show field frames when record is active

I unchecked it. It is still showing the black dotted boxes around every editable field (boxes, radio buttons, buttons, etc).

Post your file (clone and zip it first).

Ahhh, this is normal behaviour. It cannot be disabled. It's FMP showing you where the fields are.

Learn to live with it. :)
