Heathbo Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 One of the annoying things about FileMaker is, when you click on an area that doesn't have a field(just the background). An outline around all the editable fields shows up. Is there a way to turn that off?
Fenton Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 In Layout mode, Layouts menu, Layout Setup..., uncheck [ ] Show field frames when record is active
Heathbo Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 I unchecked it. It is still showing the black dotted boxes around every editable field (boxes, radio buttons, buttons, etc).
Heathbo Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 I created a simple blank layout where the problem is occurring. Highlighted_boxes_test.fp7.zip
Vaughan Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Ahhh, this is normal behaviour. It cannot be disabled. It's FMP showing you where the fields are. Learn to live with it. :)
