Publishing data from 2x FMS9A

We recently upgraded both (we have 2) FileMaker Servers & FileMaker Web Server to the new FileMaker v9 Advanced.

Our setup is as follows:

10.0.0.2 - FileMaker Database Server (UK server)

10.0.3.20 - FileMaker Database Server (USA Server)

10.0.0.3 - Web Server / Web Publishing Engine (UK Based Server)

When running on FileMaker v8.5 we were able to extract data via php from 10.0.3.20 using a relationship hosted on 10.0.0.2. But since we upgraded to v9 this has not been possible.

Data is being published successfully from 10.0.0.2.

No coding has changed on the web pages, and all the privileges seem to be the same as in v8.5 but still we cannot access the second FileMaker database server.

I have searched through FileMakers knowledge base and installation manuals and cannot find anything on this topic.

Please help!!

Anyone else having this problem?:

Have you checked to be sure that various ports are opened on machines and firewalls?

With Server 8 it was possible for the WPE to reference data on a second server provided that the file hosted on the principal server to which the WPE was connected referenced that second server. It is not beyond the realm of belief to me that this might have changed.

I will make an inquiry regarding this.

I also am moving this thread to the Server froum where it would have gotten a quicker answer.
