Hi

I am quite a learner with FMP, but I respect it's robustness and that's why I have gone down the route of transferring our customer database to FMP.

Up to now we have been using Apple Mail to send out mail shots to our customers. But the list is 5000+ strong and it seems that Mail and Address Book are not up to it.

I want to use the free template in FMP called 'Email Campaign Management' as the way to send out our mail shots.

I have found a little application AB2FM that converts our Address Book into an FMP database file, but now I am seriously struggling to work out how to get all this data into the Email template.

I have worked out how to import all the contacts and their information into the contacts section of the template.

But we have a lot of groups within the contact list, that I would like to import simply into the Email template.

I just cannot see how to do this, I cannot see how to get any contacts assigned to a group, even when I create a test group under the Group tab.

I thought something might work under the Campaign tab, under Recipients, but that has me baffled.

Any pointers, solutions are most welcome.

Thank you

Rob
