I am trying to collect data using IWP. I will have hundreds of participants and it is not practical to create an account for each participant. Is there a way to create one account "participant" but limit each participant to viewing his/her record only? Please advise!

the answer to this question depends very much on how you are going to track who owns which record...

Let each participant create his or her own Account information and then enter data. That way the tracking process you describe will work.
