I have an interfacing challenge.

I would like to produce a layout (or series of layouts) that give the ability to expand several portals to fit their contents.

e.g. Where a list of orders for a particular job contains four orders, when you click on the header (button) the header expands to show the four orders.

In other words I need to be able to take the number of records for the portal and use it to adjust the size of the portal.

Anyone out there with any ideas?

If you mean to change the size of the portal in browse mode, I do not have an answer. However, for printed reports you can set the portal to no borders and set anything below the portal to slide up, which may give you the effect you want. Check out the Invoice file included in the FM 5 or 5.5 installer disk. The printed invoice uses this technique.
