FMS9 Server Admin Tool Hangs on Start

This morning, I needed to make some configuration changes using FileMaker Server 9's Server Admin Tool. When I tried to open the tool, it went to a screen that showed the tool was checking for updates. It does not get past this screen. It has worked fine previously, and no changes have taken place that would affect the tool.

Files are continuing to be hosted, just not able to be managed with the admin tool. Any thoughts?

Hardware:

Xserver running OSX Server 10.4.10

UPDATE: I did a permissions repair and rebooted the server. This seemed to take care of the problem. Would be nice to know what caused it though, so please post if you have more information.
