FileMaker Intermediate for FileMaker 9

IT Solutions offers a two-day intermediate course for FileMaker developers who are ready to take their solutions to the next level. We will create a new database from scratch exploring the different kinds of fields and field options available. We will create calculation fields and use the calculation engine in other parts of the database throughout the course. We will create different types of layouts, design cleaner interfaces and add field controls for more accurate data entry.

You will learn how to automate workflow with buttons and scripts and create summary reports that will help convert your raw data into meaningful information. We will also discuss how relational databases work, how to plan a relational database and how to translate your planning into a FileMaker solution. This class is perfect for users who need to start adding features to an existing system or developers who are relatively new to FileMaker Pro.
