hello,

does anyone know how many records filemaker 8 can store? how big of a text size can be stored in one field etc.

i have a hard time finding them on the user manual (didn't look carfully). does anyone know any good place i can look the info up?

the data records might be exported to oracle database to use in the future. do anyone have any experiences or encounters of such a task?

There are very few differences.

Number of remote users per file: Maximum of 9 concurrent client. (up from 5 earlier)

Glitch, IMHO:

The number of calculation functions is listed as the same, 266, and they are the same counts. But they've added at least one to 9, the Self function. And maybe some geometric ones? So it should have been a different count.
