A new article was just posted on the myFMbutler blog about 'Occurrence Selector', a new FREE tool for FileMaker on Mac OS X that helps you select an occurrence in FileMaker Pro 9 (or 7, 8, 8.5).

FileMaker Pro has no built-in functionality to easily find and select an occurrence in its relationship graph, but it does react to your typing. Unfortunately, most of us are not able to type fast enough to make this a useful method to select an occurrence, especially when working with a relationship graph with a lot of occurrences.

Occurrence Selector is a menu bar item that uses GUI scripting to do the typing for you.

It is available for free download at http://blog.myfmbutler.com

On the myFMbutler blog, you'll find not only background information about myFMbutler products, but also tips about such features as FileMaker 9 Conditional Formatting, Custom Functions, etc.
