Newbies Kerrimcqn Posted December 6, 2007 Newbies Posted December 6, 2007 I am trying to install FileMaker 9 Adv on our new Leopard server but when I manually launch the fmserver_helperd service (because it gives me a database server error if I go about it normally) I get the following error: THE_PROCESS_HAS_FORKED_AND_YOU_CANNOT_USE_THIS_COREFOUNDATION_FUNCTIONALITY_YOU_MUST_EXEC_() I know that FM9 is not supported fully in Leopard but I can't even get it work so I can run the new update which fixes WPE part of the filemaker issue in Leopard. When I run this update it does not find any valid filemaker versions. Any ideas where I should start? Thanks, Kerri
Steven H. Blackwell Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 The new (9.0v3) updater addresses peer to peer IWP, and it is not intended or designed to be aprt of FileMaker Server 9 Advanced. FileMaker, Inc. has said that the leopard compatibility fix for Server 9 will be available in the near future, but for now, Leopard and Server 9 do not co-exist. More information here. Steven
