A Couple of Basic Export-to-Excel Questions

Howdy, all:

My FM library is lacking in explaining exporting FM records to Excel in sufficient detail to make it easy for the novice, so I need a little guidance; I've personally never used Excel, but I've been dabbling with the '07 version of it today on a friend's PC.

My questions are:

1) Is there a script "trick" to exporting related records in FM? I tried a number of different permutations with a simple export script and only once did it show the Parent's table related records; the other times I ran the same script it didn't export them so I can't reproduce what I did. *blush*

2) In the one instance where the related records were successfully exported, the Parent table's data only appeared in the first record on the same line (record) as its related fields--the other corresponding fields were blank.

Shouldn't the data in the PF fields be duplicated for each related record during the export? If they're not and someone performs a sort in Excel, then there's no way to determine which record the "blanked" RF-only fields belong to.
