DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo & OS X 10.5

Featured Replies

I recall hearing problems on some FileMaker list a while back about the driver for this printer (or series), but I just ran into some trouble myself now that I'm at OS X 10.5. I just downloaded the beta installer DSL 7.7.1 (v. 3.2?) and set up the printer. I have a layout in FileMaker to print file folder labels. When I print now, the top of the text is printed just below the bottom of the label (on the leftover part of the label on the right side as it comes out of the printer -- when I use the DYMO label program, the text comes out with the first letter at the vertical top (the opposite of how my layout works)).

I can't get the text to move in the actual label part, though I've tried. Although I've spend a lot of maddening time with DYMO layouts, I can't say I am an expert in how it all works. It has been mostly trial and error. I have the long sordid details of how my original layout was set up if that helps. I realize that DYMO is promising forthcoming full driver support for 10.5 at some point. Thanks.
