Hi All,

We've got a solution that is fairly large and intensively scripted. Recently I noticed that all of the GTRR script steps have "Using Layout: " as the selected display layout.

Oddly, the scripts all work just fine. We never would have noticed this problem had we not been in to look at some other issues.

I know this can't be good, and yet there are NO issues with the platform at all.

Any thoughts?

Clients are all in v8.5 and server is v8. All clients and server are Mac Tiger.

This is a UI-only (drawing) problem that has been in several versions (maybe starting with 7 or 8), that FileMaker has never fixed. It has no bad effect I'm aware of, other than not being able to see what layout will be used.

Great news. Anyone have any suggestions how to fix it? Its not the end of the world but it does make viewing scripts a bit of a pain.

There is no way to fix it until FileMaker does, and I wouldn't hold my breath, it's been a long time. What I do, after checking it, is to write a comment step that tells me where it's actually going. Clunky, but at least it stops me having to check it again (unless I change it, argh).
