Hi, I am extremely new at this.

Can a field lookup data from multiple tables.

I have the following if it makes sense.

1. Client table

2. Service table

3. Jobs table

OK

The service table gets its information from the relationship from the client table (via Client#)creating a service #.

The jobs gets its information from the service table when the service # is entered. Creating its own job#

Can I get the same information from the Client table that the service template gets, into the job table with out entering a service# but by entering a client #.

******* I hope that makes sense

It doesn't I'm afraid - There is nowhere enough to go on here, where lookups as term should be used sparingly to avoid redundant storage, and only be used for historic registration - Are you sure it's a lookup you're after or your solution could do fine with just referenced values?

Is there a hierarchy between the tables, such as a service consist of number of predfined jobs or...?

In order to eliminate random guessing, are you bound to explain context and purpose!
