just upgraded to fm9 on 2 win2003 hp proliants. all fine except on server running slow during sorts/ changes

Nowhere even near enough information about your Server and other items:

1. type and number of drives?

2. Amount of RAM installed?

3. Amount RAM allocated to cache?

4. Cache flush interval?

5. Workstation cache for FMP?

6. Free space on hard drives of workstations?

Each of these elements has an optimal setting. If one is off, it can affect "speed" over the network; if several are off, it can really affect performance.
