Amount of RAM installed? 3. Amount RAM allocated to cache? 4. Cache flush interval? 5. Workstation cache for FMP? 6. Free space on hard drives of workstations? Each of these elements has an optimal setting. If one is off, it can affect "speed" over the network; if several are off, it can really affect performance.
