I would like to allow remote users access to our LAN including FM services through SSL VPN. I wanted to find out if there are issues with FM compatibility in this scenario along with any advice about bandwidth requirements, or anything else.

Up to 10 users will be connecting remotely with Mac clients

THe hardware I am considering is Netgear's Prosafe SSL312 SSL VPN Concentrator, and the Prosafe FVS318 VPN Firewall.

Purpose of this configuration?

Please remember that FileMaker Server has a built-in encryption option for data in transit. And using a VPN could significantly impact performance, especially if bandwidth is reduced.
