FileMaker and Google Maps : forbidden error

Featured Replies

Hi!

I'm trying to use Google's embedded maps feature with FileMaker to

integrate a small map to a database using Web Viewer.

That map works if I simply copy/paste its URL from Google, but as soon

as I try to alter the URL (to point to a different address in my

database, for example) I receive the "forbidden" error from Google.

None of my addresses show the pound (#) sign that GMaps seems to

hate.

I tried pasting the URL from Google in my browser (it works) and

changing the street address to something different (it fails).

Do I need the API to do this?

not sure about google maps - but it sounds like you would be better off using their API. If you can live with yahoo maps instead - check out this:
