OMamed Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 During the installation of Server 9 Adv, I do not find a way to choose where I want to install the server files. It seems to go to C:/Program Files... and no choice along the way. Can someone help me find a way to install to a different location?
Steven H. Blackwell Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 There no longer is an option to change the location. The service/daemon must be installed on the boot drive. This is due principally to requirementsof the Java underpinnings of the Admin Console. If this causes extreme issues for your organization, let's get you in touch with your SE. Steven
OMamed Posted February 19, 2008 Author Posted February 19, 2008 Thanks for the reply. It's not a severe issue, but we prefer not to put any more programs on the C: than we have to. At least the provision for locating databases was not diminished. THAT would have been an issue. Thanks again! Otis
