blissland Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 This question doesn't really fit into any listed topic so i'm putting it here. Today I uploaded a fmp9 db to fm9 server for the first time, in order to demo it. As I was using it, another user logged in thru his machine. both he and i were using the same copy of fmp9. at one point we were both logged in. then he logged out and logged in again, but this time got the message that said the limit had been reached for # of users with that license. I thought the # limit was 5 or 9 or something like that. not 2 or 3. And why did it allow the two of us the first time, but not the second time?
Steven H. Blackwell Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 One simultaneous connection per license, unless the license key is a volume license or site license key. Also, the message can be triggered sometimes if the connection limit set in FileMaker Server is exceeded. Steven
