Have anyone experienced this, when I reboot my machine it works fine to get in to the new javabased monitor for the server. But after a day when the server has been running and I try to start the monitor again it only sais: "checking for new version...." and dosent start. What can I do? Do I really need to reboot my machine everytime I want to change my settings??

No, but disable the automatic update checker in the Server Console and see if that stops the problem.
