new version of FM-iCal-Connector for FileMaker Pro.

WHAT IS IT:

FM-iCal-Connector is a plug-in for FileMaker Pro 9 or 8.5 on

MacOS X 10.5.

Connect your FileMaker Pro database solutions directly to iCal

and the new iCal-Server from Apple Inc.

Create, get, change or delete easily calendars, events or tasks

out of your database solution. And this works also for the new

iCal-Server.

With FM-iCal-Connector FileMaker is a real calendar team player.

FM-iCal-Connector helps you to integrate FileMaker easily into

the new calendar-workflow provided by Apple Inc. with MacOS

X 10.5. Change your "to dos" created in Apple Mail with your

FileMaker solution! Add alarms as a reminder for you and your

team. Create an event or "to do" out of your FileMaker solution

and share it with others over the new iCal-Server.

WHAT IS NEW:

- New function added: 'FMiCalConnector_ConvertDate'

- Adapted the plug-in for MacOS X 10.5.2 where Apple

fixed a few bugs in the CalCalendar-Framework

- Fixed a bug in "CreateEvents", with the target "-update"

- Fixed a bug in "GetTasks" with target "-special"

- Fixed name of 'FMiCalConnector_Settings' function

- Adapted the demo database for the new plug-in version:

- New event sample

- Open iCal sample

- Register plug-in sample

- Date conversion for calendar view switched from

buggy FileMaker functions to the new ConvertDate

plug-in function

REQUIREMENTS:

Apple Macintosh computer with MacOS X 10.5. (Leopard),

FileMaker Pro 9, 8.5. The plug-in is an universal binary and

runs on Intel- and PowerPC-based Mac computer.
