Kent Searight
I have a solution hosted by FMS 9 that users login to remotely and when they perform certain actions a script sends an email. I'd like to send the mail from the server side instead of the client side to gain more control over the process. Anyone have any advice or suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help! Jalz
You can use Graham Spragues script found http://www.grahamsprague.com/server_side_email/server_side_email.html . This only works if you have Server Advanced though. Im sure it can be done through PHP, but I haven't done it that why so I couldn't give you any pointers. Kent Searight
Hi Jalz, I'd already taken a look at Graham Sprague's instructions on this and I was trying to figure out 2 things. 1.) Since FMS 9 supports XML and XSLT publishing, why does one need Server Advanced? Did Graham write that article prior to FMS 9? 2.) His example is triggered via a web browser accessing files via CWP. How could I get FM Pro to trigger the action? Thanks for your reply! -Kent
