Hello FM Gurus,

We are setting up another FM server and we just had an issue where we changed the stripe size of our RAID system for our SQL cluster and saw a HUGE difference.

Does anyone know if this would create the same result on our FM server? and if so do you have a suggestion on what stripe size we should use? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have an hardware config suggestion to increase read/write speeds wether it be raid stripe size or any other hardware specific suggestions.

We use HP Prolient servers if that helps. Thank you.

Be sure that you have 4 GB RAM installed and that you have set the cache to 800 MB. Also, use UW_SCSI 15 K rpm drives.
