Is anyone else having the same problem as me???

I'm using the Save Records as PDF, to attach a pdf of the record I'm browsing to an email in entourage. It creates the pdf and attaches it to an email, but the pdf is unreadable. Ever sense I've upgraded to Leopard this has been happening. I've applied all updates and still have the problem.

Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try this (from the TechNet email list, but likely on his web site also, so I'll post it here; it's become common knowledge):

Geoff Coffey (apparently) - 03:11pm Nov 7, 2007 PDT

Just wanted to report back that I have solved the problem. After troubleshooting this afternoon, I isolated the problem to this file:

/Users//Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/TypeSpt/AdobeFnt08.lst

This is some sort of cached font mojo (it's a plain text file). If I remove this file, then save as PDF, a new AdobeFnt08.lst file is generated and my crashing goes away. If I put the original (presumably damaged) file back in place, the crashing returns.

So the solution is to quit FileMaker, delete this file, and then launch FileMaker again. It is entirely possible some font-specific problem caused it in the first place, so I suppose if deleting the file doesn't work for you future-crashers, you might disable any recently added fonts, then trash the file and try again.

Hello Forum,

Guess it's time to stop being shy and jump in here.

I continue to be frustrated with the "Save as PDF" script step and the solution posted here doesn't work for me. I can use the Apple Print dialog box and save as a pdf that way, but I'd rather get Filemaker and Apple to play nice together.

What diagnostic steps should I perform? Currently, both my FM and OS X are current.

Thank you all.
