SCENARIO:

We are migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007.

PROBLEM:

SMTPit scripts are only successful sending email when configured for our retiring 2003 Exchange server. When configured to send using our new server (Exchange 2007) they fail with authentication errors (below)

ERROR: Send: 504 5.7.4 Unrecognized authentication type

We are using the "Login" authorization type used with SMTPit

There were mant troubles, when I lost my Exchange info. Luckily with the help of one program I resolved it. This issue might determine as well as mine - microsoft exchange email recovery.

By a sheer luck such problem has many variants of decision. One of them is a special tool. Which might resolve any complicated situation associated with ms exchange server and what is more would show such capability as recovering important info from ms exchange - exchange recovery tools.
