Screen Flashing

Featured Replies

I have a solution converted from FM 5.5 to FM8. I am working on tweaking all scripts, etc.

The solution has a dozen files. Like in FM 5.5, navigation is from file to file via buttons that call scripts from another file.

The issue is that when I move from one file to another via scripts (it looks like a typical tabbed folder system), I briefly see a "ghost" of the files.

Example - I am in one file and click a tab to move to another. While it changes, I see a flash of the other files behind the current window. The window is maximized, but the ones I see are shrunk - as if I had resized them.

They appear to be where they were many sessions ago (I have restarted many times since), when I had all dozen open and then tiled them to see all at once.

The startup of the solution opens all files and hides them, except the file where I want users to start.

When I minimize the current window all the other file windows are hidden or minimized, as they are when the first open.

I have tried Freeze Window, Adjust Window (maximize, hide, minimize), etc in all scripts, some scripts, etc (in current file and target file).

No matter what I do, these ghosts appear briefly, causing a very unattractive transition from one file to another (which was almost flash-free in FM5.5).

Any advice?
