who could help me to solve the following task on the windows platform:

1. Open a document of an original copy of Word (MS-Word 97 or higher for windows)

2. Insert to this document the customer adress from the Adress-DB of

FileMaker

3. Save the document with a documentname from a field of the FileMaker DB

(i.e. "BR_00052")

4. Search and open an MSW dokument by the name saved from the FileMaker DB

As an Macainer I solved this on the Mac platform by means of AppleScript

and Macros in Word.

But using DDE-Commands on the Windows platform does not work

from Word 97 onward as these commands are not completely supported anymore.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I'm a dedicated AppleScripter myself, and althought I haven't used it, I've heard that much of the utility of AppleScript can be duplicated on Windows using WinBatch.
