FMP crashes while printing - xdraw.dll error

We're experiencing print issues (FMP crashes) on an intermittent basis. I thought it was solved by patching FMP to the most current version, however it's started again today. I noticed one other person in the forums with the exact same issue, but with FMP verion 7.0. We're running version 8.0. I've upgraded the printers firmware also. Any suggestions. This is getting very frustrating as we can't predict when this is going to happen or how to get around it. We've tried printing to other printers on the network and it happens to all network printers.

FMP 8.0 isn't the current version.

Download the FMP 9.0 trial and see if it solves the problem.

I'm going to install the trial version of FMP 9.0 on the workstation. We have plans on upgrading both workstation and server this summer. I'll see if this corrects the issue. One thing I noticed while trying to troubleshoot this, the print server (Windows 2003 server) print services spooler had an issue with a file name shockwaveflash.shockwaveflash. I had to stop print services, delete any spooled files, restart the print services and then the next FMP print job went ok. I'm new to this forum and don't know if this can remain an open discussion thread for updating. Thanks for your input and help!
