Newbies clarka Posted June 19, 2008 Newbies Posted June 19, 2008 (edited) I use a long calculation field to produce a text report from multiple fields. I use a header and footer on each page, and often the text at the top of the page at a page break is "clipped"--I can see the bottom 1/3 of the first line of the text. There is plenty of space on the first page/layout, but on some subsequent pages, a part is clipped off. A vexing problem--any ideas? This happens in Preview and when printed. Newbies Peter Roots Posted June 25, 2008 Newbies Posted June 25, 2008 I've also experienced this problem since version 6 (now using version 9.0v3), without a solution. It's like the header or footer's 'white space' is bigger than it should be and actually overwrites Body or Subsummary space. Adjusting page margins may appear to 'fix' one lot of output, but a report of a different set of data generated on the same layout may then show the same problem, where previously it hadn't.
