Hi folks, i am really really new at filemaker developing and have a few questions regarding a database i am working on.

I need to have a required step when opening the application.

when opening i need the application to force the user to a layout requiring them to enter "sku" numbers into fields as returns, then process those returns before being allowed to move into the general application. I am completely lost as to how to do this. can anyone help me here?

This can be set in the File Options.

However you might be better off creating a script that leads the user through the whole process, and specifying that this runs at startup.
