FMPS 7 scheduled scripts don't run

Featured Replies

I have a scheduled backup that runs fine on Server 7 (OS is Tiger). I also have a scheduled task to run a script (I've tried both shell and Applescript) shortly thereafter that copies the backed up database files to a file server elsewhere on our campus. The scripts have the recommended executable bits set, owner and group are set to fmserver and fmsadmin.

The scripts run just fine from the command line, and the transfer of data takes about 30 seconds. On the server, at the scheduled time, the server log indicates that the script was run and completed, but nothing happens. No data transfer, nothing.

I've tried a very simple shell script that just creates a folder in the Backup folder. Runs fine manually, but the server will say that it ran, but no folder gets created.

I'm puzzled and not sure where to turn, or how to troubleshoot. Any ideas?
