Hello people.

We're switching to a virtualized Linux enviroment and Filemaker Server is the only problem yet to be solved.

Is there a way to run FMS on Windows XP and get it to access a Samba/LDAP (DC) Server for Authentication? Has anybody made an attempt in running it in WINE?

No I don't think so. I will double check this at the Developer conference (formerly known as DEVCON). And I would avoid running FileMaker Server on Windows XP anyway. Use Windows Server 2003 SE SP 2 32 bit edition. That's the certified OS.
